These terms cover your use of forgedbyfriday.com and the Crestron Home drivers sold by FridayForge ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a licence or installing a driver you agree to them.

The drivers and your licence

• When you buy a licence we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use that driver on the one Crestron processor it is registered to.
• Each licence covers one driver on one processor. Using it on more processors needs a licence for each.
• You can move a licence to another job on your own account from the website. Moves are recorded, and a licence moved repeatedly is flagged for review.
• You may not copy, share, resell, reverse engineer, or work around the licensing of a driver, and you may not use a licence key on a processor it was not issued for.
• Drivers are free to try for 2 hours. After that they stop working until licensed.
• The driver is licensed to you, not sold. We keep ownership of it.

The License Manager

Licensed drivers need the License Manager running on the processor. It checks in with our server to confirm your licences. If a processor has working internet but cannot reach our server for 14 days, its website licences are removed until it checks in again. Offline keys, and sites that never have internet, are not affected. If your network never allows internet access, or the system is for a government customer, contact us before buying.

Your account

Keep your password private. You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by people you invite to your team. Tell us right away if you think someone else has access.

Payments

Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe. Your licence is issued after payment succeeds. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

Testing and your installation

Drivers are tested on real hardware, but every site is different. You are responsible for testing a driver on your own system before relying on it. Do not use our drivers for anything where a failure could cause injury or serious damage, including life-safety, medical and security-critical functions.

No warranty

Except for the refund rights in our Refund Policy and anything the law will not let us exclude, the drivers and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise they will work without interruption or error, or with every firmware version or device.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost data, downtime or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the driver the claim is about.

Third-party products

Crestron, Crestron Home and other names are the trademarks of their owners. FridayForge is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with them. Support for a device does not mean its maker has approved it.

Ending access

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access, and revoke licences, if these terms are broken or a licence is being misused. We will tell you why.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site or drivers after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA.
